Nice wine, still a little rough on top but settled in nicely. Worked very well with roast beef and trimmings.

Two different tasters--one liked it better than the other. I liked it better and don't drink much red wine. The other taster likes red wines and gave it a lower score. I did not pair it well with food.

We preferred the 2003 Mission Canyon Syrah we received in a prior selection. Our guests "raved" on the excellent taste. But we understand it is no longe available to order(???).

Lots of body and a wonderful bouquet in a red wine. Very mellow aftertaste, it didn't leave a "sharp" remaining note and was quite wonderful with the lasanga we had for dinner!

sharp taste that eased after air got into it, too dry for deep red drinking temp?

Very full-bodied wine. Complex and diverse flavors and aromas. Pay attention to the temperature on this one. Even though all wines are thought to have a "perfect" temperature in which you enjoy them, this one had different possibilities when chilled and at room temperature.

the wine tastes's rough, while a syrah is a pleasant wine, the pleasantness is there although hidden by the alcohol that overides the overall taste of the wine
