About Merlot

Similar to Cabernet Sauvignon but with less tannin and fruit. Delivers earlier maturing wines. Often blended with Cabernet; on its own may soften with age, though fruit flavors may fade.

I was pleasantly surprised by this wine. I do nottypically like Merlots. This merlot would change many people's minds regarding Merlot. I found it very easy to drink almost immediately out of the bottle. A wine that both sophisticated palates and less sophisticated would enjoy.

Very bold Merlot. Perhaps the best Merlot I've ever had. Stands up well to a steak, goes great with a sandwhich.

To be fair, I do not like Merlot wine. I got heartburn with the first sip of this even after it was open for more than an hour. I found it undrinkable.
