2003 Hill Haven California Cabernet Sauvignon

This one was really smooth. I really loved it.

Very unfinished, not smooth in flavor, and left a residue in the glass and in the mouth. Would not recommend or purchase this wine--it was certainly not worth the price paid for it in this shipping allotment. Reminded me of an "overrun" from a mass-production winery.

We were surprised as to how this wine had practically no "nose". The taste was passable but not up to the strength expected from a Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a wine I would only drink with food. Not because it compliments it but because it was not good enough to drink alone.
