About Zinfandel
California's own grape variety. Red Zinfandel (not to be confused with "white" Zinfandel) can produce full-bodied wines packed with ripe berry fruit and smooth tannins. Flavors of blackberries and spicy pepper.

Easy to drink, good fruit, medium body.

nothing special, but nevertheless quite enjoyable.
Zinfandel isn't my favorite, not fair for me to rate it.
Excellent.
Very Flavor with alot of grape flavor naturally robust.
I am new to Zinfandel Nice start
-
Too light for my taste, I prefer a heavier, fuller Zinfandel.
Outsanding wine. Awesome took wines in on a horseback camping trip, people begged for more.
I don't usually care for zinfandel wines, but this one is an exception. Very tasty and was good with an Italian dinner.
Good nose but overall, it was disappointing considering that 2003 was a great year for red zins. I can't see anybody truly rating this a 90.
excellent

A "real" Zin. Not just grape jelly aroma, but Welch's Grape Jelly! Paired well with spicy Cioppino. (Yummy)!
Excellent well rounded wine. full of flavor.

Very bad! Not drinkable. We poured it out. This wine was not worth the postage I paid to have it shipped to me.
Not much body and seemed a bit watered down.
Wonderful, mellow. Just what I expect from a zin.
-
Full bodied and very good.
No comment....
We really liked it
Nice. Love the color and taste-- not as sweet as the blush.
Sort of a flat taste. Nothing too exciting.
-
Not much body or flavor. Seemed to be watered down.
Made me a believer in California Zinfandel, if I had ever doubted.
Not much flavor
First glass unimpressive. Second glass, etc. had gained bouquet and nice fruity taste (this on second day) Finished the bottle with pleasure.
Very smooth.

I enjoyed the wine, but have had a better-tasting Zinfandel
LOVED it!!! Went to a liquor store here in town to buy more but they didn't carry it, so I am REALLY glad to see that I can order more here!!! Thank you!!

It was much too dry for my liking. Very bitter.

Not our favorite. We did not enjoy the Zinfandel as much as Cabernets and Pinot Noir.
Loved it! The best Zinfandel I have had. Very enjoyable.

Too effervescent
Excellent aroma and flavor with BBQ ribs--guests really liked it. Some guests not wine drinkers and they loved it!

I took my Zinfandel with me to a hotel stay.It was smooth and wonderful!
lovely wine
Very good
This wine went very well with a surf and turf dinner.
I am used to the Blush Zinfandel although this wine has a rich flavor and deep purple colors. It was tasty and semi-dry good with pizzas also.

Very smooth with subtle flavors and a lasting finish.
This was the type of wine I enjoy--I'm new at different types of wine but I definitely enjoy the fruity, mellow flavor.

What a great Zin! Full bodied yet so smooth. Sure hope this one is in the Grab Bag!
great, could tast the currant and black licorice, but not the grape jelly
some complexity
-
excellant!
We aren't big zinfandel fans, but we liked this.
Arrived with a dry cork.
My wife even liked it. She doesn't usually drink reds. Therefore, it deserves the highest
I prefer sweeter wines or fruitier wines. This was very dry and bitter.
-
I'm not much of a wine taster. All I can tell you is how I liked it.

I truly enjoyed your choice of Zin that you selected for me to try. I look forward to trying more of your choices.
Pretty good--not as peppery as most Zins
Great with steak. Loved the taste and aftertaste.
I grew up with wine always in the house. If it was home wine or neighbors', we also had Mogan David available. Thi is a fun wine but not full bodied enough. Thank you.

Too sharp. Disappointing, Zinfandel is one of my favorite wines.
Enjoyed alone with company. An excellent sipping wine that is smooth and deep without beign too tough. Very nice Zin.
Very good with spicy green chile chicken casserole
hard to vote , i like merlots pinot and cabs. love black licorice but did not taste it
Fruity and dry at the same time....awesome!
-
mediocre at best........do not enjoy California wines because of their simplicity.
Did not much enjoy this one. No depth, too sweet. Almost effervescent, but unpleasantly so. Not TERRIBLE, and managed to finish the bottle. But would not buy again, for sure.
