About Merlot
Similar to Cabernet Sauvignon but with less tannin and fruit. Delivers earlier maturing wines. Often blended with Cabernet; on its own may soften with age, though fruit flavors may fade.

Clear--good taste (not heavy)
not as good as most a little flat
Delicious full bodied wine, absolutely loved it!

Yum! It does have a Pinot Noir flare. Coffee flavor. Great with spicy hot pizza. Dessert of dark chocolate. Yum!
Wasn't impressed - thought it came off a little flat tasting
A great wine, very robust & tangy - loved it.
Very surprised you rated this wine high. I thought it was below average for wine in this price range. I was very disappointed.
it was very acidic

This was a very nice wine
met all assessments in the tasting notes.
didn't really care for this one

Very nice merlot.

Generally a merlot is a little too dry for me-not this one. we really liked it.
This was very smooth and my husband and I liked this very much.
Liked the Merlot
We loved this wine. We were not expecting to as Merlot is not usually our favorite. We have now changed our minds!
Not even an 80 YUK!too acidy Walnut Crest is superior I do not wish more of this!

I and my family truely enjoyed this Merlot.Has a very nice bouqet and an out of the ordinary taste .
One of the best Merlots I have tasted ,very fruity taste
Very nice. Definitely tasted the cranberry and strawberry, but not so much of the anise and spices, and definitely not coffee and pepper. But it was very tasty, with a subdued but pleasant aroma. Most of the spice that I sensed was in the aroma. About halfway into the bottle, I paired it up with a slice of chocolate cake! Nice way to end a stressful week.
nice spicy merlot
Good Merlot

I was intrigued by the notion of this "chameleon wine", but ultimately it just seemed to suffer from an identity crisis. Not necessarily BAD wine, just not special. Could have been from a jug and I wouldn't have known the difference.
i enjoy all your wines, but what no Oregon wines? we have many excellent ones.
Absolutely perfect. We enjoyed this one with Lasagna and salad--not too sweet, not too dry, and just a slight woody undertone.
