About Pinot Gris
In northeast Italy it makes a light, crisp and neutral wine. In Alsace it can be a delicately perfumed, honey-flavored wine, either dry or sweet, and with more color than most whites.

This wine is being shortchanged at a 91 rating ! In our opinion it should be closer to a 93 ! Finishes excellent on the palate. Very fruity, very good taste and is mellow in the mouth.

I prefer semi dry to semi sweet.
-
okay - not something I'd be hoping to get again
excellent taste
VERY GOOD AND VERY SMOOTH.
It was OK for an inexpensive summer refreshment, but I wouldn't bother to re-order. Nothing distinctive.
My level of wine sophistication ends at telling you whether my wife and I like it. We really enjoyed this Pinot Grigio.

Like was alright .
t is simply divine.
Cool crisp but finishes kind of flat.
-
Creamy pear taste, does not breathe well. Creamy becomes tart. I thought that it was enjoyable. Tammie didn't like it.

Had a mild bad taste
When we saw the label, we expected a much harsher wine. Were pleasantly surprised by the lovely taste and texture.
This was the first bottle of wine I opened as a new member of this club. I have to say I was very DISAPPOINTED in the quality of this wine. It was absolutely horrible! This bottle was $15? It should only be worth $2 at most. Pinot Grigios are my favorite wines, but this came nowhere near the taste I expected. This bottle was very bitter, and both my girlfriend and I could not even finish our glass. We dumped the rest of the bottle. I only hope the Adler Fels bottle restores my hope in this wine club. We will try that bottle this weekend, and I will definately let you know my thoughts on that. I don't suppose there is a money back satisfaction clause. I cannot believe your supply of this wine is sold out. I will give you another opportunity with the next shipment of wine. Until then, Bret Bishop

Good taste even better with chicken.
Very good little sweet for me but good.
I liked the softness and smell went great.
-
Clean and crisp yet a bit tangy. Loved it.
Most enjoyable with salmon, broccoli
A lot of citrus, especially grapefruit. A taste which is quite distinct, goes well with goat cheese, thus lending itself to a wide range of dishes. A bit too singular to pair widely with food.
This one was a bit too dry for our taste. Not a favorite. Not bad, just not a favorite.
Enjoyed the fruity flavor.
-
loved it just where it need it to be
Very refreshing, fruity.
Crips fruity, very good wine.
Not really impressed. Sharp tang, but didn't really get the fruity.
did not like the taste

In a blind taste test, 2 of my friends thought it was a Chardenay
Very crisp and had a good finish.
really good with brie!
The flavor didn't come through enough for me. It was just another bottle of wine.
Nice and light. Inviting bouquet. Perfect for the barbeque I was having.
-
Very crisp and flavorful!! I really loved it.
Besides halibut listed on the describtion page it paired very nicely with pork.
tart, too much of a slight edge to it, not refreshing
Good!
very light, nice summer table wine, but not anything exceptional.
-
this wine has a certain crispness, yet it is soft on the palate. Excellent with lightly seasoned fish!
Light yet a touch of a tang that was so refreshing
too bitter for us - we prefer sweeter

Pretty Good. A little "tangier" and sweeter than I usually like, but I enjoyed it with some seafood very much.
Too woody for my taste
-

I liked the pear flavor, Tammie didn't. Overnight, it's flavor became much sharper, drink in one sitting.
