About Merlot

Similar to Cabernet Sauvignon but with less tannin and fruit. Delivers earlier maturing wines. Often blended with Cabernet; on its own may soften with age, though fruit flavors may fade.

A 91? My taste buds may not be as finely tuned as your panel's, but I know a mediocre wine when I taste one. Dumped it. No more Merlots, please. They're too iffy.

Tasty, but non-descript. Definatly worth trying, but not worth filling your cellar with. Undertones indicate that it may not age as well as some, and legs were negligable.

This wine has an alluring fruity aroma and leaves a nice warmth in your chest after just one sip. This would be a good wine to enjoy on a chilly evening.

Opens with a beautiful dark cherry nose and follows up with black cherry, plum, and dark fruit on the palate. Smooth and supple tannins throughout the palate. Stands well on it's own; also complimented roast turkey with stuffing and skin-on mashed potatoes well.
