About Chenin Blanc
Native of Loire valley in France. Grapes have high acidity and need plenty of sun to ripen. The foundations of great long-lived whites, such as Vouvray. In South Africa and California can give soft, fruity wines with notes of melon, peach and citrus.

Fine example of Chenin Blanc. Nice reminder to remember to not forget this once ruled California Whites.
nice, light - good for sipping
It was great with Christmas ham!
I didn't enjoy it as a casual drinking wine, not sweet enough for my taste.
This wine was fruity but had an acrid, bitter aftertaste. This is one I would definitely not reorder.

Light, smooth great meal pairer for white meats like turkey and pork roast.
Light and crisp with a lingering grape aftertaste.
I do not like fruity wines, I even marked dry reds on my membership form. or dry whites.
Very light tasting with alot of subtle flavors !!
This wine was outstanding! Smooth with an excellent taste. We would recommend it to anyone.

Chenin Blanc is my favorite white wine; however, this was the worst I have ever tasted. I would not ship this to any other members.

Very smooth, would have loved to purchase some more.
everyone raved about this wine when I brought it out but sad to say I never got a chance to try because it was gobbled up too fast...all I can say is what everyone else said--"absolutely divine! Especially for a white!"
Very light and refreshing, great for a warm day out having a picnic.
Everthing was good but the wine lacked character. There was a fair amount of acid in the first sip that almost created puckerde lips but it was well balenced in the finish. I rate it a 2 because it is forgetable and lacks complexity.
