About This Wine
A wine country wedding can have a profound impact on a couple.
Just ask Scott or Lynn Adams, who tied the knot in California's North Coast wine country in 1994. Already in love with each other, they fell in love with the land. Recalls Lynn: "After spending many weekends up here exploring the area, we decided our life goal would be to pursue two passions — outdoor living and fine wine."
A year later, they began to live their dream, entering into a partnership with Scott's father and brothers (also dedicated wine lovers) and purchasing a vineyard in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley. "For the next four-and-a-half years, we immersed ourselves in classes and worked on the vineyard, learning some of the finer points of grape growing," Lynn adds. "Only then did we feel comfortable taking on the next challenge: winemaking."
That comfort is evident in the 2006 Bella Zinfandel — a wine made with top-quality grapes and plenty of love.
California's own grape variety. Red Zinfandel (not to be confused with "white" Zinfandel) can produce full-bodied wines packed with ripe berry fruit and smooth tannins. Flavors of blackberries and spicy pepper.

Cabernet Sauvignon Ice Cream Our friends at Alexander Valley Vineyards came up with this wonderful recipe a few years ago. We've tried it with Cabernet Sauvignon (as the recipe calls for), as well as Merlot, Primitivo, Cabernet Franc and Zinfandel... and every time, it turns out delicious! It's best made with an ice cream maker, and if you have such a machine, it's extremely easy to assemble. Enjoy!
