About Merlot

Similar to Cabernet Sauvignon but with less tannin and fruit. Delivers earlier maturing wines. Often blended with Cabernet; on its own may soften with age, though fruit flavors may fade.

Excellent, it's so good I was tempted to give it a bad rating in the hope there would be some left when I ordered a case! LOL

I love this wine. Before I joined, the wine I bought in the store was hit or miss. Sometimes you got a really good wine but otherwise you was really bitter tasting. This wine was so smooth and light for a merlot. I will probably be getting many more bottles for my friends to try who are afraid of red wine.
