2006 Knoll Haven California Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep ruby-red hue. Fruity cherry and plum notes on the tip of the tongue with a citrusy sourness on the sides of the tongue. very smooth and drinkable after being quite ill this morning. I notice a slight choke-cherry dryness on the back of the tongue as an afternote, which is pleasurable to my palate. I would strongly recommend this wine to my family and friends.

It's hard to believe this wine is a blend of so many varietals, the balance is perfect. The palate of this wine is rich and full with dark fruit flavors and a very elongated finish of cocoa. I enjoyed it with a jucy stak. Must be great with veal chops also. Excellent wine, thank you very much for being interested in our ratings.

We really enjoyed the dark cocoa and smoked meat flavor in this wine. It was very good with our New York Strip Steak.

The hint of oak and smoke in the wine goes great with parmigiano reggiano or robusto.

Excellent Wine. Great legs. Can easily taste the dark berries and smoked meat flavors. For those who don't want too much oak, this is the Cab to enjoy. Excellent with Sharp Cheddar cheese. Excellent tasting Cabernet. Will definitely buy again.
