About Chardonnay

Relatively easy to grow in a variety of locations. Consistently produces some of the world's great white wines. Complex, full, rich and fruity with soft edges and moderate acidity. Offers rich and intense fruit flavors of apple, fig, melon, pear, peach, pineapple, along with creamy yeast spice, honey, butter and hazelnut flavors.

    This is the first wine I have recived from the club that I have not liked. It had no fruit, no body and a sour taste.

    I have not opened this one yet, but I rate my last re-order (Silver Pony Sauvignon Blanc) the highest for a light summer wine. S.D.

    I am not always a fan of Chardonnay, but this one was very good. Light and fruity. Great on a hot summer day.

    one of the smoothest and pleasant "whites" i have the occaision to sample. the kick is there but the pleasant fruitiness overrides anything that would bring pause.

    I liked the initial taste, definitely a very good scent and note of crisp apples and pears. However, I didn't care for the lingering finish. It was more of a sweet, syrup-y finish and I prefer a clean, crisp Chardonnay.

    This wine was totally awesome - the best white I've ever had. We enjoyed it with a meal of steelhead trout, baked potato and asparagus.
