About Zinfandel
California's own grape variety. Red Zinfandel (not to be confused with "white" Zinfandel) can produce full-bodied wines packed with ripe berry fruit and smooth tannins. Flavors of blackberries and spicy pepper.

For having a 90 rating I can only assume we got a bad bottle, cork seemed fine and showed no leaking. We cannot drink this even after extended decanting.

good clarity, strong legs, hints of berry, not woody or smokey
A well balanced red that is food flexible and very enjoyable!
Disappointing. Not as much fruit in this Zin as I like.

This Zinfandel also goes great with Buffalo steaks. My Husband, who does not care for red wines, loved it!!!
Dry, not much flavor, no noseP

Kind of bland.
This was a great surprise. I'm not much of a Zinfandel fan but found this one to have smooth and complex tannins that were not overwhelming, and bright tart pie cherry notes with some soft white pepper on the nose and palate. A very tasty pleasure!
WONDERFUL!!
This is unfair because I am not fond of Zinfandel.

Very young wine, not as zippy a zin as I'd hoped it would be.

Very full bodied for a Zin. Excellent flavor, pretty good wine!
We served it with pasta with eggplant and tomatoe sauce. They complemented each other very well
bitter with an after taste

very good red! not too sweet and a hint of zing
The wine was ok but certainly did not impress my friends and I.
I didnt like it.
-
tasty with a nice aroma red is not my favorite wine but I liked it.
Average, didn't turn me on.
Just perfect-our favorite so far. We prefer white over red anyway.
We usually rave about red wines from Paso Robles. This Zin was OK, was better after letting it breath for a day in the bottle. Quite fruity.
The wine was too light with no complexity or body.
