About This Wine
Andrew Murray has made some of the world’s most coveted single-vineyard Syrah wines.
But he also crafts a Syrah for everyday enjoyment. It’s known as “Tous les Jours,” and it typically includes juice from a handful of those single-vineyard wines. “We do not skimp on the winemaking for this wine,” Murray tells us. “I use my experiences with both New World and Old World-style winemaking to make the most drinkable Syrah imaginable.”
And what about the 2008 vintage? “It’s remarkably dark and full-bodied, and yet it has such gentle tannins,” Murray says. “It is truly a pleasure to drink — lots of fruit and spices. No need to wax poetic about this one as it tastes just plain yummy.”
In fact, the word “yummy” appeared on the assessment sheets of no fewer than three of our tasting panel members. If you’ve been looking for an everyday drinking wine that’s a cut above the rest, your search is over.
About Syrah
Very dark, rich, powerful wines with great aging potential (as long as 50 years), yet still can be drunk relatively young. Distinct pepper, spice, cherry and leather flavors, with smooth, supple texture. Embodied in majestic wines from France, Australia and, increasingly, California.

Expert Ratings
The 2008 Syrah Tous les Jours is a stunning bottle of wine for the money. It is a decidedly flashy, extroverted Syrah loaded with blue and black fruits, licorice and tar, all of which come together in a fat, forward style. Smoke, tar and French oak linger on the finish. This is a superb, entry-level Syrah from Andrew Murray. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014.
