Raymond Vineyards embodies the spirit of the “Old Napa Valley.”
After arriving in the Napa Valley in 1933, marrying Martha Jane Beringer in 1936, and enjoying more than 35 years working at Beringer, Roy Raymond Sr. decided in 1970 that it was the time to put their family name on the deep roots they'd laid in the valley.
Their first crush in 1974 was emblematic of the early Napa Valley harvests: Raymond and his sons worked together side-by-side, caring for every facet of the operation, from farming to fermentation, and from bottling to sales and hospitality. It’s a true family business — something that has become quite rare in the rarified air of Napa Valley.
Raymond Vineyards’ “Reserve Selection” wines are made exclusively from Napa grapes. Beginning with the first vintage in 1974, Raymond has crafted elegant, powerful wines that are distinctly characteristic of the Napa appellation, earning a reputation for beautiful balance, elegance and finesse.
