About This Wine
Lodi is considered the Zinfandel capital of the world.
Situated between the San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada mountains, Lodi wine country is home to fifth- and fourth-generation winemaking families who know the land, know their vineyards and — perhaps most important of all — know how to grow Zinfandel grapes.
Today, the families meld the experience of their forefathers with cutting-edge technology to craft wines that rival any in the world. And while numerous varieties are grown in the region, Zinfandel remains the star. In fact, approximately 40% of the premium Zinfandel grown in California comes from Lodi and its classic Mediterranean-like climate.
3 Muses Cellars crafts its Zinfandel in a medium-bodied style that emphasizes the fruit flavors of the variety. That means it’s not only a delightful sipping wine, but also extremely food-friendly. Barbecued spare ribs or a pepperoni pizza make perfect pairing partners.
California's own grape variety. Red Zinfandel (not to be confused with "white" Zinfandel) can produce full-bodied wines packed with ripe berry fruit and smooth tannins. Flavors of blackberries and spicy pepper.

We've tried it with Cabernet Sauvignon as the recipe calls for, as well as Merlot, Primitivo, Cabernet Franc and Zinfandel... and every time, it turns out delicious! It's best made with an ice cream maker, and if you have such a machine, it's extremely easy to assemble. Enjoy! Get The Recipe
