The length of the 2005 growing season allowed for the development of ripe fruit character. Fresh crisp apple, lemon chiffon and juicy pineapple all come to mind. Suggestions of warm brioche and hazelnut lead way to a pleasing palate bursting with ripe apple, key lime and plump apricot. The 2005 Blanc de Blancs finishes with refreshing acidity and a quenching palate.

Full and round with smooth flavors and fine persistent bubbles. The extra measure of Chardonnay contributes elegance and austerity, which balance nicely with the delicate fruitiness of the Pinot Noir.

The wine is two-thirds Pinot Noir which produces a red fruit forward nose (cherry and plum) combined with one-third Chardonnay which adds the tropical expression of lychee nut and mango. The 100% malolactic fermentation adds a vanilla cream character producing a round and full-bodied wine.

9. NV Fantinel Prosecco

Color is pale straw. Nose reveals slight apple, citrus, and hint of spice. On the palate, juicy citrus and apple flavors are at the fore with a nice toasty edge to the finish.
