4. 2007 Agricola De Borja Borsao

The 2007 Borsao is 80% Garnacha and 20% Tempranillo fermented in stainless steel. Dark ruby-colored, it has an enticing bouquet of spice box and black cherry. Balanced, with good depth and a bit of structure, this attractive, savory wine will provide pleasure for the next 2-3 years.

This lightly-oaked wine offers aromas and flavors of sweet flowers, ripe citrus, apple, pear and a hint of vanilla.

Brilliant straw yellow with a green shimmer. Quite pronounced and expressive aroma with flowery and somewhat spicy notes. Rich flavoured in the mouth, with a slight smokiness at the back and a good, fresh finish.

Bright ruby. Alluring aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, potpourri and Asian spices. Vibrant and precise, with sweet red fruit flavors, a silky texture and a distinctly spicy character. Tangy acidity adds energy to the long, smooth finish, which repeats the red berry notes.

The light-textured, well-drained, sandy-loam soils cultivated here nourish our low-yielding vines to set clusters with small berries, intense with flavor, color and concentration, all essential qualities for top-level wines.
