About This Wine

There is a clue about the success of Roblar Winery & Vineyards in the estate’s name.

That clue? The pluralization of “Vineyards,” as Roblar bottles wines not only from its home appellation in California’s Santa Barbara County, but also from other grape-growing regions of the state — including the Napa Valley.

With a focus on the creation of high-quality, limited-production lots, Roblar winemaker Bryan Davison’s wines highlight the special flavor of the grape varietal while maintaining balance and elegance. Davison developed his style over many vintages in the cellars of Martin Ray, Chateau St. Jean and Michel-Schlumberger.

The 2014 Roblar “Gold Collection” Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted from outstanding Napa vineyards in the Rutherford, Oak Knoll, Stag’s Leap, Calistoga and Yountville districts. Each vineyard brings its own palette of depth and personality, and small amounts of four other varieties combined to create a wine that is full-bodied and plush on the palate with a long, opulent finish.
