About This Wine

Numerous esteemed vineyards align Napa Valley’s Silverado Trail.

Forty acres of historic grapevines along that trail belong to Titus Vineyards, a family-owned, second-generation estate that focuses on limited-production, premium Napa Valley wines.

The success of the estate can be attributed to the hard work of brothers Eric Titus and Phillip Corallo-Titus, who place equal importance on viticultural and winemaking practices. They embrace the belief that it takes great grapes to make great wine. In addition to the Titus Vineyards portfolio consisting exclusively of red wines, all of its wines are blends.

“This is the cornerstone of our winemaking philosophy,” Eric says. “We believe blending varietals completes a wine offering — a superior expression of the primary grape variety, vintage, vineyard and region. This blending philosophy has become our hallmark of style, and influences our approach to every wine we make.” That includes the 2014 Titus Malbec, a plush and rich wine of superior quality.

About Malbec

A midseason ripener, it can bring very deep color, ample tannin, and a particular plum-like flavor component to add complexity to claret blends.
