About This Wine
Paso Robles has experienced an amazing transformation.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, grain and cattle were the primary commodities there. It was a land of pioneer families, vaqueros, cattle barons and even a few banditos. It was the real and true west.
That pioneer spirit lives on today at a number of ranches, and also at dozens and dozens of wineries. Families are still making good use of the land, just in a different way. For the “Three Rivers” Red Wine, patterned after the great red wines of France’s Rhone region, Indian Creek sourced grapes from a vineyard planted in 1973.
Sustainable farming techniques have been embraced from the very beginning, and the vineyard is considered a model for growing winegrapes in an eco-friendly manner. The 2015 Red Wine is a delicious result of that earth-friendly approach. It’s medium in body, brimming with fruit flavor and finishes with a hint of sweetness.
