Winemaking is in Elvio Olave’s blood.
Olave has been making wine for more than two decades. The craft is a family tradition, one that Olave takes very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that he made the decision to purchase additional prime land in order to plant additional grapevines and have full control over their care and nurturing. It has proven to be a great decision, as he’s now able to make exquisite wines while also supplying grapes to other local vintners.
“In the vineyards, we try to express the qualities of each area where our vines grow,” Olave says. In Chile’s Maipo Valley, he adds, “the yields are carefully controlled to produce concentrated and elegant wines.”
