A world away in Australia’s Barossa Valley, women known as the “barrel girls” were overseeing some of the first vineyard plantings on the Seppeltsfield Estate. It was their vision, leadership and hard work that helped establish what would become one of the world’s most acclaimed winegrowing areas.
