About This Wine
There’s a reason Dublin Ranch looked to Washington for its 2016 Chardonnay.
Washington (the state, not the district) is home to most of the Columbia Valley, which is, by far, the Northwest’s largest grape-growing region with more than 11 million acres. The appellation is located in central, south-central, and south-eastern Washington, with part of it spilling across the border into Oregon.
The Columbia Valley is home to more than 99% of Washington’s vinifera acreage. Cabernet Sauvignon is the most planted grape followed by Merlot, Chardonnay, Riesling and Syrah. Variety typicity and pure fruit aromas and flavors are the hallmarks of wine from the valley.
Indeed, the 2016 Dublin Ranch Chardonnay embodies everything we love about the variety, from its fruit-sweet flavor reminiscent of a cinnamon-sprinkled apple tart to its creamy finish. Chardonnay is the most widely planted white variety in the Columbia Valley, and this wine deliciously demonstrates why that is so.
Relatively easy to grow in a variety of locations. Consistently produces some of the world's great white wines. Complex, full, rich and fruity with soft edges and moderate acidity. Offers rich and intense fruit flavors of apple, fig, melon, pear, peach, pineapple, along with creamy yeast spice, honey, butter and hazelnut flavors.

Roasted Garlic Scampi With Minced Prosciutto If you're a white wine drinker, here's another recipe that gets its flavor, in part, from garlic: Roasted Garlic Scampi With Minced Prosciutto.
