About This Wine:

Situated in southwestern France, the city of Bordeaux is considered the world’s major wine industry capital. The historic part of the city has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Farther inland, the vineyards of Bordeaux produce wine grapes — primarily Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon among the red varieties — that are crafted into some of the most coveted wines in the world. Most are made on small estates from grapes grown in small vineyards.

Imagine having access to wines from some of Bordeaux’s top vineyards, including Grand Crus, and being able to blend them to a desired style. That’s the story of Les Charmes du Roy, which crafted a superb red wine from specially selected lots. The style? Medium in body, tannins in check (making the wine accessible now but also worthy of aging) and with a long finish. It’s a true Bordeaux beauty.
