About This Wine:

Today, it’s owned and cared for by three long-time winegrowing and ranching families, led by Karl Wittstrom, Rob Rossi and Doug Filipponi. Together, they’re committed to advancing the land’s legacy of early California rancho hospitality.

Ancient Peaks Winery produces a wide range of varieties, including a delicious, limited-edition “Blanco” made from a rarely-seen blend of Muscat and Chardonnay. The 2017 vintage saw only 339 cases made, virtually all of it earmarked for visitors to the winery’s tasting room in Paso Robles, half-way between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

This is a lusciously textured wine with a bright, fruit-forward character. The aroma and flavor spectrum includes impressions of peach, pear, nectarine, honeydew melon and lime, joined by hints of ginger, sea salt and minerals. The wine has a soft, seamless finish, making it an ideal choice for warm-weather sipping.
