About This Wine:

And it has found a welcoming second home in California’s Paso Robles growing region, especially at the Croma Vera estate. Croma Vera was founded in 2014 by Mindy Oliver and her husband, Chris Steins, and its name is Latin for “True Colors.”

“We guide meticulously farmed grapes with minimal intervention, allowing each vineyard to reveal its true, unique colors,” Oliver tells us. The name also reflects her artistic background, first as an illustrator and then as a graphic design professional. “With experience, creativity and science as our guides, we shape the wine into a work of art. “

Oliver and Steins met consulting winemaker Jeremy Leffert while experimenting with different cellar techniques. In Leffert, they found an advisor who shared their focus on exceptional quality and interest in Spanish varietals. Croma Vera crafts a food-friendly Tempranillo that makes an artful addition to any dinner table.
