About This Wine:

The Great Missoula floods created a terroir that’s perfect for growing grapes, with deep, relatively low-nutrient and well-drained deposits. There, Sam Hill sought to create an independent farming community named after his wife, Mary, and built what is now home to a world-class cultural institution known as the Maryhill Museum of Art.

In 1999, nearly a century after Hill founded the Maryhill community, Craig and Vicki Leuthold channeled the same entrepreneurial spirit and set out to fulfill their dream of producing premier Washington wines. Their vision became Maryhill Winery, which today is a true destination wine estate.

Maryhill Winery has been honored with more than 3,000 awards since its first vintage in 2001, including being named 2014 Winery of the Year at the San Francisco International Wine Competition. The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is another in a long line of outstanding Maryhill wines.
