About This Wine:

But when Guilllaume Gonnet and his future wife, Kelly, met for the first time, they got into a long discussion about terroir and its expression in wine. It seems that Guilllaume had always been fascinated by the notion of terroir — in particular, how the varieties of France’s southern Rhone express themselves differently depending on where they’re planted — and Kelly found the topic equally enthralling.

After officially becoming a couple, the Gonnets bought their own plots of land in Chateauneuf du Pape in 2015, and began making wine with minimal interference with the “terroir effect.”

Embracing Biodynamic farming and initiating fermentations with natural yeasts, they have quickly become known for their delicious and expressive “wines of a place” — wines like “Le Reveur,” a Grenache-based blend that is soft, elegant and a pure pleasure to drink… not to mention talk about.
