About This Wine:
And some of the best rosés in the world are crafted in the southeast coastal area of France known as Pays Mediterranée. It encompasses appellations that are as varied as Cotes de Provence, Bandol and Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
The catchment area of the Mediterranée IGP extends over 10 French departments, including two on the island of Corsica, as well as covering smaller parts of Isere, Loire and the Rhone. The terroir is varied, but is broadly characterized by both the very southern edges of the Alps and the warm, dry Mediterranean climate.
For its 2019 Rosé, Maison des Jardins expertly blended two gregarious grape varieties — Grenache and Cinsault — to create a wine that is perfect for leisurely sipping on a lazy day. Serve it chilled, and pair it with oven-roasted sea bass, rotisserie chicken or a marinated mozzarella melon salad — and enjoy an armchair journey to coastal France.
