About This Wine:
Grenache is a red-wine grape grown extensively in France, Spain, Australia and the United States. It is versatile both in the vineyard and the winery, which may explain why it’s one of the most widely planted grapes in the world.
Cinsault (sometimes spelled without the L) is a dark-skinned grape variety traditionally used as a blending partner for Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre as part of the classic southern Rhone blend. Meld them in a rosé style, and you have a truly inspired and enjoyable wine. In fact, Grenache-based rosé is one of southern France’s signature wine styles.
At Bonne Vie, Grenache makes up seven-tenths of the rosé cuvee, and the finished product is like a fruit bowl in a glass, with an enticing floral note. Try it solo or, for a special treat, pair it with crab cake sliders with pineapple salsa.
