About This Wine:

That’s the year he released a small lot of Pinot Noir from the famed Rochioli Vineyard. It was the first-ever single-vineyard Russian River Pinot, and brought worldwide acclaim to the region.

Since 2007, the winery has been in the capable hands of Tom Klein who, along with winemaker Greg Morthole, honor the expertise and shared innovative winemaking spirit of Bynum. Humbled and proud to be carrying on the Bynum legacy, Morthole is committed to staying true to Bynum’s philosophy.

Jane’s Vineyard is located in the Santa Rosa Plains neighborhood, and is made up of the adjacent Lindley’s, Crinella and Garfield block — 132 acres of Pinot Noir with nine different clones. That mix of clones contributes to the complexity of the cuvee, and the 2015 vintage is big, full-bodied and rich. It’s a fitting tribute to a California Pinot Noir pioneer.
