About This Wine:

Well, there’s also no “I” in Malbec, which may explain the team approach embraced at Rodney Strong Vineyards in crafting the estate’s 2015 Malbec. Four experienced winemakers — Greg Marthole, Tom Klein, Justin Seidenfeld and Rick Sayre — lent their considerable talents to blending and finalizing the cuvee.

The Rodney Strong winery is home to two specialty cellars, one to handle small-production wines and the other equipped with modern, state-of-the-art tanks. The winemakers utilized both cellars in creating the 2015 Malbec cuvee with the goal of making the finest wine possible.

Meticulous blending, combined with aging in French oak barrels for 21 months, resulted in a medium-bodied and perfectly balanced cuvee that is ready to enjoy now or can be laid down for four to five years. And in embracing the best word to describe this wine, may we point out that there are two I’s in delicious.
