About This Wine:
Imagine walking through a garden of orange blossom flowers and honeysuckle shrubs, and breathing in the sweet perfume-like fragrance. As one tasting panel member noted, this wine is almost as much fun to smell as it is to drink.
Crafted from the Albarino variety, Pragustus Afrutado Vino Blanco, utilizing grapes grown in specially selected vineyards in Spain, is a wine best enjoyed outdoors (or at least with a view of outdoors). The Pragustus winemaker tells us that the classic dish to pair with this wine is pulpo (octopus), adding that other inspired pairing partners are spicy fish, shellfish and mussels.
It also goes well with roasted vegetables, and because it’s crisp and refreshing, it’s excellent on its own or as the first wine of a long night of wine drinking. We like the way he thinks.
