About This Wine:

It sits on a hill surrounded by vines in Sonoma County, California. The production wing is outfitted with carefully selected equipment that allows for wine to be produced with minimal handling. Its three barrel rooms have independent temperature and humidity controls to ensure the best expression of fruit character in each wine made.

The “Mas Cavalls” Pinot Noir is named after the Catalan term for “Horse Farm,” as the family’s equestrian center sits below the estate vineyard. And the Doña Margarita Vineyard is named after the late matriarch of the Torres family.

Cool breezes and fog from the Pacific Ocean make Doña Margarita ideal for Pinot Noir. The 2016 vintage was aged in premium oak barrels, sourced from forests in the center of France. It then was bottled, without fining or filtering, in August of 2017 — a delicious California wine with French and Spanish accents.
