About This Wine:
That’s when a majority of the grapes are harvested, and in the Mendoza region of Argentina, that’s when most of the Malbec grapes are picked, sorted, crushed and fermented — the key initial steps in crafting a memorable wine.
The Larrea label has been a trusted source of high-quality Malbec wines for years, and the “Juanna Larrea” bottling, in particular, is coveted by wine lovers not only in Argentina, but around the world. One key in their winemaking process is to ferment the grape juice in stainless steel tanks in order to protect the luscious fruit flavors, and then to transfer the wine to oak casks — mostly French, some American — to enhance complexity.
The 2018 vintage is a medium-bodied, easy-drinking wine that has a long and flavorful finish. Mother Nature’s cooperation with good weather in March of 2018 led to an exceptionally enjoyable finished product.
