About This Wine:
Colonists planted grapes on the coast of Sonoma County in 1812, many others followed during the 19th and 20th centuries, and history is continually being made by innovative vintners.
Today, more than 60 grape varieties are grown in Sonoma County, but Chardonnay remains among the favorites with wine drinkers. Carello Chinetti has 1,400 acres of vineyards to source in the Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley, Carneros and Alexander Valley areas for its Sonoma County wines. These cool-climate vineyards are sustainably farmed and managed for optimum flavor, producing wines with bright fruit and balanced acidity.
The 2019 Carello Chinetti Chardonnay is rich and balanced, with an abundance of Gravenstein apple and vanilla flavor. Those impressions begin in the aroma, carry over to the palate, and then cascade into an elegant, silky finish — another Sonoma County history maker.
