About This Wine:
The Firesteed mission since 1992 has been to craft wines that represent the finest expression of the varietals grown in Oregon, most notably Pinot Noir. The winery icon is a horse, an archetype that has connoted grace, fire and beauty since ancient times. It’s also a symbol of the frontier spirit that drew pioneers west to follow their dreams.
That pretty well sums up the winemaking community in Oregon, whose early vintners took a chance on the climate and the land with the hope that the vineyards could produce Pinot Noir reminiscent of Burgundy.
