About This Wine:

The future winemakers were in a pub, where they met some local grape growers. After swapping stories over a few pints (of beer), the group trekked to some nearby vineyards. It immediately became obvious that some wonderful wines could be made from the grapes grown on the well-situated, well-tended vines.

Almost immediately, a deal was struck, and the debut wine from Layer Cake was an Argentina Red. The concept then expanded to making wine from places the proprietors liked to go — Primitivo from Puglia... Malbec from Argentina... Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from California. But it was an Argentina blend that started it all and continues to be the star of the Layer Cake line.

The 2015 vintage is a delicious wine that’s layered with rich fruit flavors, warm spice notes and a hint of creamy dark chocolate. It’s a vinous wonder from Argentina.
