2019 Delectus California Cabernet Sauvignon

Each vintage, the estate produces only 4,500 cases of wine, concentrating on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. Virtually all of it is sold at the winery, but when an allotment of the Cabernet Sauvignon became available this year, our wine finders jumped at the chance to secure it.

Through the years, Delectus wines have received high scores and praise from wine critics and wine drinkers alike. “We pride ourselves in producing expressive red wines that are big and bold without compromising the art of winemaking,” says vintner Chris Phelps.

The lovely barn-like estate of Delectus Winery and tasting room is conveniently located right off the beautiful St. Helena Highway in Napa Valley. It was launched in 1995 by an 8th generation Austrian winemaker dedicated to making luxury red wines.
