Later, the fog gives way to intense sunshine, creating warmth over the vineyards. Then, dusk gives way to nightfall, cooling the vines before the process begins anew the next day.

This is the home of Laetitia, situated only four miles from the Pacific Ocean. This microclimate, coupled with an extended growing season, produces grapes with intense flavor and complexity. And the well-drained soils yield small crops that demonstrate great varietal character. Today, Laetitia has become known for its handcrafted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but the estate was founded specifically to produce sparkling wines.

The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc grapes used to craft the “Cuvee RM” Brut were hand harvested, whole cluster pressed and tank fermented using Champagne yeast. Utilizing true Méthode Champenoise tradition — from bottling to aging to riddling to disgorging — this is a sparkling wine of great character from a special place.
