2021 Tall Dark Stranger Malbec, Argentina

That’s how the team behind Tall and Dark describes their wines, noting that they come from “the world’s most adventurous winegrowing regions.” That’s an apt description of the Mendoza region of Argentina, located on a high-altitude plateau at the edge of the Andes Mountains.

Synonymous with the Malbec variety, Mendoza boasts incredible vistas and some of the country’s top wine estates. These are the vineyards that provided the fruit for the 2019 Tall Dark Stranger Malbec, crafted by Nancy Walker with the focused goal of enabling the best characteristics of those vineyards to shine through in the wine.

Walker describes the cuvee as a fierce red wine with a soft, lush texture. From its bright berry aromas through to its rich, jammy finish, it’s a benchmark Malbec from the country that has put the variety center stage on the global wine map. It’s a wine that’s fierce... fearless... and fabulous.
