Giampaolo Tabarrini is regarded as among the leaders in Italy's young generation of professional and quality obsessed winemakers. For over four generations the Tabarrini family has lovingly tended vines from their property in Umbria, Italy to create a variety of distinctive wines. Giampaolo became the proprietor in the late ‘90s and since then has brought both the enthusiasm and dedication necessary to begin bottling the family’s wines and sharing them with the world under the Tabarrini brand. The winery produces among others, Sagrantino, a varietal indigenous to Montefalco that is becoming more revered each year by wine consumers globally. The passion of Giampaolo and his family is exemplified in the gentle and meticulous picking of the fruit and the painstaking vinification process, and ultimately is embodied in each bottle of wine carrying their name. The family’s philosophy is simple; first and foremost, "great wines grow only from a great love of the land-from the bunch to the bottle".
